Alawa is right. 9/11 did change the world for good.
This is a "civil war" dispute that has been going on forever and we weren't in it until the day the towers fell. Now look at us. Now look at the rest of the world. People see a terrorist where there isn't any. And every time people do that, they play right into the oppositions hands and fuel the battles.
It's just crazy and it gets crazier from here. Unless people stop.
I can see stopping isn't going to happen any time soon, right. Honestly, I don't know why this is considered a liberal thing.

I'm an American. I could move to Germany, but I will always be an American.
However, I would have to really think about it before I could say, 'I'm a Proud American', because with in the last 10 years, this country has changed to the point that I don't recognize it.
I can understand her saying she will always be Syrian. Besides she has no reason to say, or feel otherwise.

I am certain that they weren't all illegal aliens either. I'd be willing to bet that many of them were anchor babies also. Seems like the offspring of many "immigrants" are turning against us and just want to turn our country into their parent's former countries in many ways. I see a lot of resentment towards mainstream America and the flying the flag of their ancestoral roots in our country including burning our flag.
