Where did you get your quotes "wants California to be completely populated by Hispanics" and "All whites ought to go back to Europe."? It appears you just make them up.
In the call-in show in the late 1990's Obledo was just commenting on the trend that the Hispanic percent of the California population was increasing.
Obledo: “We’re going to take over all the political institutions of California. In five years the Hispanics are going to be the majority population of this state.”
Caller: “You also made the statement that California is going to become a Hispanic state, and if anyone doesn’t like it, they should leave. Did you say that?”
Obledo: “I did. They ought to go back to Europe.”
The statement wasn't about "all whites".
Same as saying if someone doesn't like Bush, Obama, or Trump they can leave.

This really sounds rather ignorant on his part since almost all Hispanics are part white. So, he should be going back to Spain himself or else learn the Aztec language and denounce his Spanish heritage.

The best way to defeat the opposition is to demonize self-defense. If their is no foundation for self-defense then the weakest offense will be victorious. That is what we see playing out in Ca. with the second amendment and is the liberal strategy that has been so successful by labeling conservatives racist. A "Hispanic" is someone who hails from Hispania, the Iberian Peninsula, which is populated by the Spanish and Portuguese, who are "white".
