thats also only one polling outfit. another one said 70 percent were against the ban., but trump people always do this. they find one poll and say he's going to win, even though the other 9 have him losing. they do it with people to. they search the internet and find some random black person who says i like trump and say blacks will go to the polls for trump, yet they forget that his unfavorability rating with blacks is in the 70's to 80's.

anything to push the narrative.

While it may say "support reached a majority", it goes on to say "the support remained at 50 percent".

Guess what?

Remaining at 50% IS NOT a majority and being at 50% never was.

That is a plurality not a majority.

Hogwash!

The allegation is "Majority support", 50% support is not a majority no matter what the other 50% is doing.

Claiming 50% is a majority is Trumpie math, not real world math.

Whether they agree or disagree what will a ban on Muslim immigrants do to change these types of attacks committed by home grown American citizens who are Muslims?

Gauging Americans' views on Orlando mass shooting - CBS News

62% oppose Trump's proposed ban

CBS News poll:

Trump recently reiterated his support for temporarily banning Muslims from entering the United States, but most Americans don't support this. 62 percent think the US should not temporarily ban Muslims from entering the country, while 31 percent think the US should do so.

Most Democrats (62 percent) approve of Clinton's response, while just half of Republicans (50 percent) approve of Trump's. More independents are critical of Trump's response than Clinton's.

Americans have traditionally approved of measures that also are contrary to our Constitution.

well,

1917
U.S. breaks diplomatic relations with Germany

because of war.

Of course time has changed, but comparing The Chinese Exclusion Act to temporary Muslim immigration ban is like comparing apples to oranges.

Only two of the past dozen or more mass shootings have been committed by white Christian men. Why aren't we talking about banning white Christian men? Sounds stupid, doesn't it. It's just as stupid to ban Muslims.
