You are trying to use this to spread fear and hate for a certain group of people. That's wrong. Period.

if not, what is the point of your quote?

Prosecutor: Boys in Fawnbrook case plead guilty | Southern Idaho Crime and Courts | magicvalley.com

This is the local paper reporting...I live in Twin Falls...and can attest to most of the details in the article. Alt/Right liars hijacked the story for their own ends..shameless.
Why is it (from the article) unclear how long the boys have been in the community?

The incident touched off months of turmoil in Twin Falls after the story was spun into a fake news account that exaggerated or flat-out falsified many of the details, including that a knife was present, the attack was perpetrated by a Syrian gang of adult men, that a rape had occurred and that the attack was celebrated by the perpetrators’ families as city officials orchestrated a cover-up.

In fact, police and prosecutors said, there was no rape, no knife was present, and the incident involved young boys. Officials characterized the incident as a sexual assault and say each say each agency involved followed proper protocol....
A GoFundMe page started by the mother of the victim has raised more than $72,000, with a goal to raise $100,000. The mother, who refers to her family in the third person when posting on the site, added her most recent update Tuesday morning.

“Today is the day!” the post said. “We find out what happens and when the kids start there (sic) sentence and what they get charged with. Please pray!!!! Also if you can share the campaign and donate so we can reach the goal for this family. They deserve justice and praying that happens today.”

After an investigation, two boys ages 14 and 10 were detained and charged. A third boy involved in the incident, age 7, was charged later. The youngest boy is from Iraq and the two older boys, who are brothers, are from Eritrea, an African country. The boys are from refugee families, but its unclear how long they’ve been in the community.

What actually happened during the incident remains unclear because the case was sealed to the public, typical in juvenile cases, especially those involving allegations of sexual misconduct.

Prosecutors said one of the boys touched the girl in the laundry facilities of Fawnbrook, a low-income housing complex in Twin Falls, while another boy recorded the assault on a cellphone video camera.

One boy pleaded guilty to felony exploitation of a child and misdemeanor battery. A second boy pleaded guilty of aiding and abetting felony lewd conduct and aiding and abetting misdemonear battery. The third boy pleaded guilty to a charge of accessory to the commission of a felony.Prosecutor: Boys in Fawnbrook case plead guilty | Southern Idaho Crime and Courts | magicvalley.com

Yes, I agree there was a crime and lewd activity...like it says. But this is not even the same story that you all were originally saying.
She wasn't raped. There wasn't a knife. It wasn't grown Syrian men who did it. It was children.
One Iraqi and two brothers from Eritrea, an African country.

Like I said it was a horrible incident and I feel for the family and think the people who did this should see the full force of the law.....but this story was not the story that we originally heard.

It was used by people with an agenda to spread hate and fear about a certain ethic group. That's not right, either.

Because if you read the reports the Police and Prosecutors said so.

Bingo. These refugee children have to actually be TAUGHT to not sexually assault females. Who in the f would want their children to attend school with groups of refugee children who actually require special classes every Wednesday to learn how to not rape women? Disgusting. Appalling. These boys were 14, 10, and 7, and had already absorbed cultural acceptance that females are ripe for the pickin'. People like this are simply *not* compatible with our culture.

As if making them not Syrian and just refugees makes the story any better! Or is the media hoping to destroy the little girl and her family more than they have? By the way it is NOT a LIE, to think people haven't taken the time to know the truth, if they are going to respond. As afar as I know the family has never even said what or who these boys were. The family and the woman who found her, referred to them as her "playmates!" Most likely all the kids play together in the apartment complex.

No one should ever be the victim of rape or violence. But this story seems to me, to be getting twisted and used by individuals who have an agenda. That's all.
She was 5 and mentally disabled......what does this do for her down the road. No one, including the family has been mean to these boys or their family. Threats were given to the little girl's family by those with an agenda! The girl's family had to move while those boy's family have been given support and kindness. The little girl has got nothing from the community!

5-Year-Old Girl Brutally Attacked By 3 Boys
Julie DeWolfe, a friend of the family who has been advocating for justice for Peterson's daughter, Jayla, said she fears that justice might never be served.
"The rapists still attend public school with the community’s children and live at home with their families," she said. "At this point, there is no justice for Jayla. There are fewer people fighting for her because refugee biased political figures have buried the issue, deceived the people through inaccurate statements, and postponed proceedings."

Maybe everyone needs some of these classes because it is hardly just a refugee problem.

Well, thats true. It's not. It is more of a problem within patriarchal cultures that subjugate women and have normalized violence as a matter of tradition however, so it's a crime committed more prevalently within those cultures.

The way I see it is, we have enough god damn crime (including sexual assault) in the US already. We need to be very careful about importing into our country people who will potentially make matters even worse.

What makes matters worse with imported foreign cultures is news media and political pressure against enforcing our own laws. We deal somewhat effectively with child abuse through mediums such as child protective services. When an honor killing or sub-lethal abuse of a disobedient female in "cultures that subjugate women and have normalized violence as a matter of tradition however," CPS will fear to get involved for reasons involving their own safety. Just as bad the media will, as many poster have on this thread, deny what happened.
