Its very tractable to where, when and who purchased the fire Arms.
Yes, it is. I want the gun control nuts to show whether the guns used in committing the shooting/killing crimes in Chicago are legally owned by those who used them, or illegal.

My son is a police officer, once working in a huge city, with a lot of crime....and then obtaining a job in a much smaller town, which is indeed growing, but the murders are not present.
However, he still deals with low life drunks, and druggies, who are in fact making babies, and passing on that mentality to their children.
Same with low life gang members....teaming up with low life women, who have no respect for themselves, don't care about anyone else, and respect nothing. And they're still making babies.
Until you change this, (and there are no quick fixes) there will always be high crime areas....
And those of you who refuse to believe that cities do not put up correct graphs and crime in their cities are drinking the cool aide.
It's time for the bleeding hearts to go into the inner cities and see for themselves what is REALLY going on.
Its not the guns, it is in fact the pathetic mentality of these people....and if you don't believe me, I feel very sorry for you and this country.
I mean obviously recently manufactured guns that aren't registered to anyone, or guns used by a person who normally would be restricted from owning due to not being able to pass a background check.
Using your thought process, it's on a constant and steady decline and we'll soon see it get down to zero crimes/murders all by osmosis.
Problem solved.
My thought process is intelligent to know that there will always be crime and murders in large metropolitan areas.
However, to ignore that crime has decreased is ignorance and to post threads every week about Chicago crime and murder is disingenuous considering there are many cities in this country who have worse issues with crime and murder than Chicago.
I could understand if this was posted in the Chicago forum, but I hardly ever see "there were ______ shootings this weekend" threads in the Chicago forum.

If threads about Chicago's violence issues appear more on this forum than the Chicago forum, then it can be concluded that this is about a political rant.
You all on the forum post one thread a week about Chicago. (I did a search on "chicago this week" and over the past month 5 post were posted here on Chicago including this one, so once a week).
Spike has only done one (horrible) movie regarding Chicago.

Why didn't he set it in one of the cities you say has higher gun homicides? Why did Spike Lee specifically reference Chicago? Chi-Raq.
