first of all, the "no fly list" is for something that is a privilege, not a right. you have no right to fly in the constitution, just like you have no right to drive or ride a horse. you do have a right to travel freely, which means you can walk everywhere you go.

the "no buy list" that the gun grabbers are pushing IS unconstitutional because it abrogates the second amendment without due process. now if the government were to take you to court, and prove that you should not be owning a firearm, compete with evidence or criminal activity or mental defect, THEN you can be put on a no buy list without subverting the constitution because you would have had your day in court, aka your due process.

.223 is nearly the same as a .22, just travels faster. It's not some big powerful round as many think.
but you see that isnt the point for the gun grabbers. it doesnt matter that the .223/5.56 round isnt that hard hitting, it comes out of a scary black rifle, and that is what makes it deadlier than any other round, the scary black rifle part.

Either smart guns that can only be fired by their registered owners or no guns at all... Neither is an option in the short term...

How about actually addressing the problem, not what people want to hear, you know, those knee jerk reactions from the left.....more laws for guns....more laws for guns....

So what is your solution? How can you prevent someone with a gun from committing a crime using a gun?

Nothing will ever "solve it"

The gun is a tool to be used, unless you change how people use to the tool the tool is still going to serve whatever it's user intends to use it for.

You can offer solutions to specific problems surrounding them, but you won't solve it entirely with the motivation and intent of people being the ultimate deciding and damaging factor

The thousands of laws that are currently on the books don't work, can you agree? If not, what do you suggest, not smart guns (they can be taken out with an EMP and no guns, well that's completely off the books, even in the long term).

Do you think violent crime or killings are only related to guns?

Oh, and start taking the inner city crimes serious, put them in jail, throw away the key, tough crap....

And did you notice that everyone is against the evil black rifle, maybe you can tell us what kills the most rifles, shotguns, or blunt object?

You can't and shouldn't 'prevent'.

People make decisions, sometimes heinous ones. The only way to prevent heinous choices is to abridge personal freedom.

Abridging personal freedom doesn't work on criminals. They operate outside of the law. How do you handle someone who will break the law no matter what?
