So there are 11M, what's the plan deport them all.
I guess if 1M can be deported others would run on their own

Brushing aside protests from immigrant advocates and both Democratic presidential candidates, the Obama administration is moving ahead with a surge of deportations in the coming weeks, aimed mainly at mothers and children from Central America, immigration officials said Friday.
The Department of Homeland Security is stepping up the pace of deportations to send a tough enforcement message to Central America and to try to head off a seasonal swell of illegal crossings of the southwest border, the officials said. Those crossings generally rise during the summer, and administration officials are especially concerned because there was an unexpected increase in the numbers of migrants last fall.

That is illogical especially since we have already deported several million, actually illegal immigration is down from 2008 but who would have known.

"Aimed mainly at "mothers and children". It's nothing more than a petulant response.

Several million? You got a link your assertions? As long as we still have millions of them here whether or not illegal immigration is down what's the point?

Those are Central Americans that claimed refugee status. What about the millions of actual illegal aliens still here mostly from Mexico?

If you pull out the statistics you will see that illegal immigration declined after 2008 but from the furor you wouldn't have suspected.

This law protected 4M families temporarily to add some common sense to deportation policy yet people are celebrating this as some sort of victory.
