African-Americans as a people have earned far more than they received in this blasted country. They are better than me having to listening to nonsense like the above. That's all I have to say...
Sorry, but whites had AA for a few centuries. I can't sign on to this idea that we've fixed the horrible affects of hundreds of years of white privilege in just 4 or 5 decades. Wanna get rid of AA...fine. But not until past matters have been rectified. And they absolutely HAVE NOT been rectified at all.
And all of the griping is so that they can maintain the benefits of their affirmative action. They want to be the ones who benefited the most, then and now. And really, white women have benefited the most from recent affirmative action policies.
What evidence do you have that the growth of white women in college and in the workforce is due to Affirmative Action?
People label all blacks that succeed at doing anything AA babies completely without evidence, so it's about time somebody point the finger at white women. They qualify too.
If Affirmative Action is totally abolished at private and public universities, there will be 40% Asians at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, etc. and blacks will go from double digit percentage to like 2%. Are you okay with that?
I'm perfectly fine with that. It's pretty much saying a lot of blacks are there because they're quota fillers...which is fairly racist and demeaning to the blacks that belong there because they're lumped in with the people that shouldn't be there.
AA is non-sense. If there is evidence that somebody was denied because of their race and or sex, there should be consequences, but this notion of quotas is fairly insulting and keeping out people that would be there if there wasn't a quota to meet.

Yeah, it is an insult. What you think of my Alma Mater is immaterial (that would be THE Arizona State University). At least i have a degree. Maybe you should've worked harder in school. Then maybe you could've went to college too instead of being salty at me.
As for your "only black people" comment, well i'm black. Who in the hell else am i supposed to care about? Other groups can stand up for themselves without my help.
