No whining, no attacking to other politicians (Boris, Farage) and just taking it.

Someone can learn from this folks!!

Yep. Mature response. Got his hat handed to him. No pouting lip. No blame. No snark. I hope our president is taking a lesson in leadership.

mr cameron has always impressed me as a politician. he works for what ever he believes, but does not pout when he loses. and he realizes that he wont be an effective leader in moving the country out of the EU, and as such he decided the best thing to do is resign and move on.

I think Mr. Cameron is a great politician. He was not overly liberal, nor was he dangerously conservative. He is much better than many world leaders.

I don't feel very happy to see him leaving the world political stage. Best wishes. I know he is going to do well.

Credit and applause to David Cameron for who he presented himself to the UK voters after his defeat in the referendum. At times, in this short speech, one got the sense of an efficient and serious minded politician lacking in fear and true to his convictions. No drama required and just lets get on with the transition and elect a new leader before the Conservative Party Convention in three months time.

Again a model modern day politician. Others should take note.

He just feels like a big dummy for ever agreeing to hold the referendum in the first place. He got fooked in the arse by his own party.

Don't bet on it. He won't, Hillary won't, Trump won't. They're all too smug and narcissistic to learn from another leader.

Doesn't really apply to the US since our system is so different from theirs.

In America, the parties are bought and paid for by the 0.1% of the population who contribute fully two-thirds of all campaign donations.
