I don't know that the Taliban has ANY problems with me. In fact, i doubt that they do. Stop flattering yourself by thinking that the Taliban lie around all day consumed with how to get you. Really dude, they don't.
They just want you out of their country. And you should get your ass out immediately.
Most conservatives are quite happy to send someone else to Afghanistan to attack people who have lived there for a thousand years. The last days of American colonialism are on display in Afghanistan.
How is detaining war criminals like high level ISIS or other terrorist organizations a blemish on the US?
We detain domestic criminals, why not those foreign that have perpetrated atrocities against America?

Probably because half of the detainees at Gitmo were innocent of any wrongdoing. As usual, we create more terrorism with our policies than we prevent. Not that I would expect most conservatives to understand why this is true.
They can be considered POWs. Since the war is not officially ended, it is valid to imprison POWs. Some American POWs cannot return home either.
Where are those American POWs? On the other hand, I can tell it makes you feel safer for our gov't to imprison people for years with no formal charges.
So. If you don't wanna face him in a war with the Taliban, LEAVE AFGHANISTAN.
