Numerous statistics show states with more guns lead to more gun deaths.

Really? What statistics?

Read what he says in this article. This guy doesn't even hate guns, but says the university is not the place for armed students.

That's right, those crimes occurred in locations where criminals KNEW they could not be thwarted by law abiding citizens who were armed to protect themselves and others.

But back to blaming those guns!
Should we allow guns on airplanes so that law abiding citizens can be armed and protect themselves?

This idea that a gun is just an "object" like any other "object" is the issue here.

While other "objects" can be used AS a weapon. A gun IS a weapon. That is it's sole function.

the problem though is that not all batteries last as long as the manufacturers suggest. sometimes batteries have flaws in them, and they die an early death. at least is you put a flashlight in the drawer, and the batteries die, you dont die because of dead batteries. when the batteries in a smoke detector start to die, there is an audible warning of that fact.
