I mean I think larger State rights and smaller federal government is better.

However, I guess this my leftist in me. Feel that over the years people have become dependent on Welfare. Would like to see Welfare be trickled away and eventually dissolved. Also for US citizens state run universal healthcare. Also I an pro life, but religion become to muddled with goverment affairs that I support pro abortion. Feel that even if we stand on pro life that women can still have an abortion. So being pro abortion goverment has little say in what a woman can or can't do. Also protects the health of the woman.

Also bit extension of federal government hand prohibiting the death penalty. Believe it's the goverments job to do in its best interest protect the lives of Americans. You can argue well why not unborn children reason being is this is goverment controled. Not going to lock up pregnant women so they can't have an abortion.

Also last extensions of federal government support are: National sales consumption tax/eliminate IRS & Income tax; protection of the Constitution/Make new ratifications to meet the times (Support 2nd Ammendment); legalize marijuana (reduce or commune sentences of those in prison for marijuana charges); support rights of all Americans support LGBT make it an ammendment against infringing against their rights; reform Electoral College so States are equal (Point based system based off of parties in the State and percentage candiate wins the State) Also makes goverment elections no longer based off of two parties; federal campaigns can only be run off of donations no donations from the goverment/utilizing tax payer money, banks, or corporation/businesses (Unless employees of company individually); should not be allowed to ask if a person was previously incarcerated.

Also support reduction of federal agencies and transferir powers to States. Only federal goverment agencies that should have a mix of State and Federal powers should be Judicial, Executive, Legistative, Treasury, Science, Military, and Healthcare branches of goverment.

Most goverment agencies like corrections should shift from federal to state prisons. Military should expand national guard and reduce reserve/active military. Goverment should regulate banks and currency. However, should have little involvement in State finances.

Education should be based of skills and performance not standetized test. Funding should be managed by state, county, and towns.

Privitization of social security.

Free education for state run trade and community college programs.

Support the growth of science/research and encourage growth of sustainable energy, but do not offer goverment subsides to energy industries.

States sgould manage most laws unless goes against the Constitution

I guess that would really depend on what you think that the States should be doing in all of the matters that you mentioned. Strictly speaking a libertarian is against all forms of initiation of force upon the individual for any reason. Or more clearly...

No person, group, or government has a right to initiate force upon any person, group, or government for any reason.

So if you have in mind the States being the aggressors instead of the Federal Government, you are just a statist. Which really fits in with either party in this country built entirely upon immoral aggression upon the individual.

Or even further, as a libertarian you would not support or condone any policy at any level of government that did anything more than retaliate against those who initiate force upon another. Libertarians, real ones, believe that the ONLY just form and role of government is as a retaliatory force against those who initiate force. There is no other role for government to fill that is moral or rational.

Above all things and in every instance it is the ultimate goal to maximize human freedom for every human being and to never ever resort to using aggression for any desire or outcome.
