It is called DUE PROCESS. American citizens have a constitutional protection. If non-US citizens are on the Terrorist watch list, they should and will be denied the ability to purchase guns in the US.

Can't guarantee that the current administration won't just GIVE firearms to them like Fast and Furious, but they won't be able to get them from a gun store legally.

Ignore the Muslim terrorist who was under FBI scrutiny at least two times. Blame Republicans. Liberals really are easily led.

For armed security sanctioned by the state? Yeah lets not misrepresent anything here. What's next, gun control of SWAT?

If it's about something else, I'm at a loss. It might just be people wanting to be angry about something. But many liberals feel that Republicans have done nothing to address gun violence and have actively worked to prevent gun control that could have prevent Orlando from happening.
Yep and if OMAR had been denied his security license to use firearms they would have felt the Republicans were doing nothing about bigotry.

You don't have to agree with that point, but don't start throwing around 'He was a registered Democrat' as if that has anything to do with the overarching issue this little sign is trying to make.
Yeah, the left never does that.

I have highlighted the problem with their accusations. Just because the FEEL that something will prevent a crime, the fact that even the democrats have stated that it would not, doesn't stop them from blaming everyone but the terrorist that committed the crime!

Why is it, when a person is murdered by stabbing or killed by a drunk driver, neither the knife or car are blamed instead of the criminal or the driver?

They also presented a Bill that would have accomplished much the same BUT without taking away Due Process.

The Dems voted that down because they sought to remove Due Process from the equation.
You don't have a big problem with that!?!

Some don't see how our Rights shrink with this kind of emotional reactions.

Who paid for the banner? The DNC? I doubt it represents the thoughts of the pride participants.

He was a Muslim and registered Democrat.

What are the Dems doing about that?
They had the White House and the Senate as well as Congress for the first two years and did nothing.

This is nothing but political fodder for the Leftists.

I'm not agreeing with the sign. I'm telling you what they think.

Maybe. Maybe not. If there was more efforts to keep guns out of people's hand universally, it's unlikely they would have thought anything bigoted was going on. And even so, I doubt they'd bring it up as it's a conflict of interests.

Who denied that?

Gotta love this narrow minded thinking that exists to extremely in politics. "If you're not with me, you're against me."

Nonsense. That bill was about mental health and had nothing on it that would prevented the Orlando shooter from legally buying his guns. If you want to arm terrorists vote for the GOP. I'm no fan of democrats but the GOP are just batsh^t insane.

Who said I disagree. I'm not saying the sign is valid, I'm explaining what they are trying to get across, which the OP did not do. Which means they weren't doing their job. They instead went with blame shifting. This sign asserts one point, then the OP gives a totally unrelated point about how Mateen was a registered Democrat. That doesn't address the sign.

And yes, the sign could also be blame shifting, but since this thread deals with the sign as the source material, that point is only relevant to the larger discussion and not so relevant for this specific one.
