Maybe Trump should start building the wall in Washington State.
------------

The Government of Canada has made it a top priority to re-establish and strengthen our relationship with one of our most important partners, Mexico. To this end, Prime Minister Trudeau today announced Canada’s intention to lift the visa requirement for Mexican visitors to Canada beginning December 1, 2016. Lifting the visa requirement will deepen ties between Canada and Mexico and will increase the flow of travellers, ideas, and businesses between both countries.

Closer collaboration between Canada and Mexico on mobility issues will also help encourage travel between the two countries while preventing any increase in asylum claims or other irregular migration. Officials plan to meet regularly to promote these mutual interests.

Canadian officials are working with their Mexican counterparts on final details to ensure a successful visa lift.

If Trump becomes president, Canada may be building that wall to keep Americans out.

This is great news.

When US grows a pair and starts enforcing laws that are already on the books, the illegal Mexicans can simply cross the border into Canada and seek asylum there.

I wonder if we could start releasing illegal immigrants at the Canadian border?

Moment of truth for the smug Canadians who like to lecture US on progressive values. Let them have 'em all.

Just to set the record straight.

In order to ENTER Canada, everyone from ANY country, must have a passport, and meet our regulations about being a VISITOR here.

A quick look at a map of North America will show that there are no "land crossing points " between Canada and Mexico. That means that in order to get to Canada, Mexican visitors are going to have to do one of two things.........enter Canada by way of an airline flight, OR enter the US by legal means. That second option is a more likely route.

Canada has legal requirements for all those who enter our country, as visitors. A Passport, proof of their financial ability to support themselves while here, and a clean criminal record. In addition, no visitor to Canada can seek work of any kind, apply to attend any type of school, use any of our social services, or over stay their allowed time in our country. The above regulations ALSO apply to US citizens.

So, does that clear up some of the myths and miss-information that has been spread around , recently ?

READ this link to the Canadian Government's information website, about "Visitors to Canada " requirements.

link. Determine your eligibility ? What you need to visit Canada as a tourist

Please do not make the mistake of applying US thinking to what happens here in Canada. We enforce our laws, including having a system of identifying llegal persons and deporting them, after a hearing in front of the Refugee and Immigration Board.

the only way to stem this is to remove the opportunity.

as they say "don't hate the player, hate the game".

Since I don't know, can somebody tell us if Canada has birthright citizenship?

The US also has legal requirements and yet we have an estimated 11,000,000 to 14,000,000 people here illegally. This is how it starts with liberals. In a decade or two it will be hateful and immoral to enforce those immigration laws in Canada.
