Ever thought of that? The Islamic States of America. What would have been the contribution of ISA to the world? New drugs, cars, planes, space travel? May be the iphone? What would the wait be to become a citizen? What would the illegal aliens look like? Which states would be shiite and which sunni? Would the number of lashes for the same crime be uniform across the country?
I mean, the amount of things that would have had to be different in history for this to happen are so massive that any prediction is basically nothing but a guess based on what you want to have had happened. Who knows what the world would look like. North America might be a cesspool of sexism and violence, or perhaps a wonderland of peaceful prosperity. The amount of things that would need to change for this possibility to exist are so massive that you could pretty much come to any conclusion and most likely have a solid way to argue in favor of it.
Also, did you just imply that America was discovered on the 4th of July? Because that is not how it happened.
