Momentum Machines robot-powered restaurant is opening in San Francisco - Tech Insider

So they scream for more money and are soon to be replaced. At which point they will scream for more freebies and those that are working hard to make a living to support their families will, once again, have their taxes raised to pay for the people who thought they were worth 15.00 an hour and are now laying around. All the while those imposing the taxes exempt themselves and continue to get richer.

Sound about right?

The point is, the more industries and businesses are automated, the more people will be put out of work. Even the hard workers because people will have no money to keep them in business.

Or in other words, they should have just paid them the $15. It would have been in your own self interest.

"The point is, the more industries and businesses are automated, the more people will be put out of work"

And all those wagon makers were replaced by the auto industry when Henry Ford "invented" the assembly line and AUTOMATED the process. look at how many are employed in that industy now.

All those Underwood typewriter repairmen were replaced with hundreds of thousands of IT people with the "invention" of the computer.

The stage coach was replaced by the train, then the airplane.

Societies EVOLVE. It has happened ever since man made the first spear.

"Is the glass half empty, half full?"

Nope.

Sounds about bitter over suggestions to increase the minimum wage.

I report. You decide.
