3 Attacks in1 week show ISIS under pressure?

ISIS attack in Bangladesh shows broad reach as 'Caliphate' feels pressure - CNN.com

The biggest problem is radical Islam.

1.5 billion Muslims, with 1% being violent Jihadists or supporter of violent Jihad/Jihadists. Well, that is 15 million psychopaths just waiting to blow you up. So if ISIS, or whatever Jihad-of-the-month group gets decimated......it will just be like whack-a-mole, the Jihadists will spawn another grotesque head.

True. Though I think a little more than 1% secretly support this sort of thing. That number is growing too. Optimistic me would say that's why the refuge crisis is a thing. Many of those leaving don't support radicals. But also, some who do are also leaving in an effort to do what they believe is just.

Along with that, one of the reasons the numbers of supporters are going up is the anti-America rhetoric that the Jihadists use. The worst part is that they aren't even always stretching the truth to much. They can just show a Donald Trump speech, say they hate us, and get people to hate America. Bin Laden himself claimed 9/11 was in part a reaction to US foreign policy, and while it's asinine to say it's the only or even necessarily the main reason, to deny it played no role is equally ridiculous.

We need to be more thoughtful of our strategy. To me, it's clear that neither the Republicans or Democrats are willing to show any thoughtfulness on this matter. Sadly, I don't think we'll see many improvements on the issue in the next 4-8 years. We can hope, but with one side basically pretending the threat is virtually non-existent, and the other more or less saying all or most Muslims are plotting against us, is it all too surprising that things aren't getting better?

It seems less likely that ISIS had anything to do with this attack. The bombers were locals associated with an outlawed Muslim extremist group. ISIS is getting desperate for a win and claimed this attack as their own work.

The media is writing the final chapter of the Obama Administration: "He saved the world from terrorism."

I don't understand your argument. This article does not say that ISIS is under pressure from the West; rather it highlights some differences among ISIS and al Qaeda and other groups, differences which have led to, well, competition, for lack of a better word. I'm no CNN apologist, but the article doesn't say what you suggest it does--it talks rather about the Caliphate being pressured.

If you object to it based on factual or other error, please make that clear. As the text you quoted above demonstrates, the article *is* saying that such attacks as that in Bangladesh shows ISIS' "broad reach." You do know a "Caliphate" is not the same as ISIS, right? The article is saying that the Caliphate (in Bangladesh, in this case) is feeling pressure. .

Three attacks: Turkey, Bangladesh and Bagdad. Muslims killing Muslims. It cannot get any better than that.

Find something else to blame on liberals. This one was an epic fail due to lack of imagination.

How would Trump handle it? Boots on the ground? I'd bet his boys would never serve in the Military. (Just like their old man)

Don't be an islamaphobic.. we just have to let them blow us up and feel good about it..we must listen to Hillary and Obama, the leaders .. they say it is racist to call someone a radical islamic terrorist.. .. we can't identify the enemy because we will make them more mad and they will blow us up more.. we just have to show them more love . We have to ignore the fact that they want to kill us with bombs, and guns and crockpots.. When they blow us up and kill us, we can't care anymore , so ''WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE" Now that makes a lot of sense to the left..
