Well, yeah. She said you need to be a Muslim to be an Islamic Extremists. No ****. That's not exactly a terribly revolutionary idea. There's a reason we don't see a bunch of Christian Islamic extremists.
However, terrorism is a little different. While religion might rally them to a cause, people don't flock to terrorism for just any one reason. Things like poverty and politics play a role in creating terrorists. It just so happens that the world isn't short of any charlatans ready to tell you this is what God wants.
