There's good reason to speculate who the perps are.
There is a good chance this was retaliation for all the black folks murdered by cops lately. Hopefully law enforcement fixes their problems and criminal cops are convicted so this doesn't continue to happen. When it's eye for an eye everyone ends up blind...
I think we should all wait to see who the police ultimately catch for this crime before we start passing judgment. It could have been a lot of different types of people with various motives.
And we need to stop injecting color into all these kinds of situations. There are ignorant people of every kind, and good people of every kind. Most of us do want peace, not violence. And ignorance breeds ignorance.
A very sad night, one police officer was shot in the back, my heart goes out to tall the families of those who bravely serve every day, with no intent malice of any kind.
The people AT THE PROTEST are saying how upset they are that anyone, including the police, was hurt. This was a very peaceful gathering till the snipers opened fire.
How did all of this unfold? This protest was probably planned yesterday so how did the 2 suspects have time to organize this?
How much organizing time do you think two guys need to pick up some loaded rifles, position themselves somewhere around police, and start pulling the triggers? You can be in business in a matter of minutes.
