No. They should let them go when they HAVEN'T committed a crime and not shoot them over busted tail lights and don't asphyxiate them over loose cigarettes....or dump a million bullets into 'em for picking up his wallet, or shoot them for playing with toy guns, or don't stick a broom stick up their rectums for absolutely nothing, or shoot them with a gun by mistake because you REALLY meant to use your taser instead, and on and on and mother effin on.

The statistic mentioned in the title is extremely misleading, because on one hand it references blacks, and on the other hand "unarmed blacks". The number of cops killed by unarmed blacks is obviously zero. The statistic implies that a cop is more likely to die in an encounter with a black person, when in fact cops shoot about 1000 people to death per year and the number of police shot to death is closer to 50.

You still aren't hitting an apples to apples comparison. Someone in the act of a violent crime and engaging in a shootout with police are highly likely to get shot.
if cops kill down a black in two seconds while they wait a few minute to do the same with a white it's because of their past experience and perception
