They should never assume that. Shooting someone in the back while you are holding them down is pretty much the definition of cowardly though.

I am not certain if those numbers are correct but even if they are, it doesn't tell the whole story. When you say "blacks," it makes it seem like the crime is spread evenly among black people, when we all know that it is really pockets of gang bangers and career criminals who are committing the bulk of murder and manslaughter.
