The Browns are gutless for allowing him to remain on the team- I hope they lose every game this year (They stink on AND off the field). His apology was garbage- he has a racist heart full of evil and hate. He will eventually reap what he has sown. He was a troublemaker at UGA- Richt kicked him off the team, and he had a reputation for being soft.
I watched the video and the young man seemed very sincere in his apology for posting that picture. I commend him for taking responsibility for what he did and more importantly his affirmation to be "part of the solution".
Many of us have been very upset and perhaps written or said things in anger after the murders of cops in Dallas and recent violence in other cities. I know I have.
If you have time, watch the video Crowell made. His words and apology were well taken by me.
This jerk was dismissed form his college team for having a gun with an altered serial number in his car.
I understand not liking cops who harass you when you do nothing wrong, but it seems like a lot of young black men think it is "harassment" for cops to stop them from driving around with the guns that they tend to shoot each other with in alarming numbers.
That's why this issue is so complex. Do young black men get treated differently by cops? Yes. Does it seem that many young black men think that following any sort of rules should be optional for them because of past oppression? Yes.
Four game suspension should be about right. Not too severe. But when you step over the line there should be consequences. Apology is not enough.
