He didn't simply mention Alton Sterling and Philandro Castile - he gave the same sort of "bio" of personal anecdotes for both of them as he did for the slain police officers.
This wasn't a memorial service for these guys. I guess my question would be this - would people think it was tasteful and appropriate for him to share personal bios and anecdotes of the five slain police officers at a memorial service for either of these two men?
For the record, I believe that Philandro Castile's shooting was nearly certainly criminal - and he wasn't a criminal. But Alton Sterling? Please. He was a felon brandishing a gun and engaging in even more criminal activity (as a felon, he shouldn't have even had a gun, for starters). The man had a rap sheet a mile long. He was a CAREER CRIMINAL. I don't think it was at all appropriate to eulogize this criminal at the memorial service for the slain officers.
If you've ever known a narcissist, you'll know that Barack Obama doesn't even come close to fitting that type. But what the heck - throw every dirty word you can at him even if you don't know what it means.
That's it for mention of Alton and Philandro, apart from a factual, relevant statement about the reason for the protest.
He may have only mentioned the officers individually once or twice, but a large portion of his speech talked about them collectively, either "them" or "the five" or "they" or "the officers" or "these heroes" or "these outstanding men".
It would have been rather awkward to say all five names individually every time he mentioned them. Sheesh.
I'd go through and highlight how often he mentions the officers collectively, but that would take way longer than it took to highlight the two civilians.
No, you have to "be appalled"! You must be outraged at President Obama for any and all reasons or even ones made up.

O'stupid is a classic narcissist:
nar·cis·sist.
[ˈnärsəsəst]
NOUN
1.
a person who has an excessive interest in or admiration of themselves:
"narcissists who think the world revolves around them" ·
"narcissists preening themselves in front of the mirror"
That sure sounds like Giggles the socialist clown, and his Hulking, America hating wife, Manchelle
I get 47.
29 uses of "I", 6 "I'm", 8 "I've", 2 "my own", 1 "my lifetime", and one reflexive use of president (the other three uses were referencing Bush, VP Biden, and the office in general).
The contractions use two different types of apostrophes.
(Also, for some reason the page becomes unsearchable after a few seconds. Have to copy paste the full text to get all matches. That is probably what happened to your search.)
It's called personalizing the message. It's identifying with the situation as a human being, rather than just attaching oneself to various concepts.
The first time I ever had to give a speech it was about a 20 minute talk. Afterward I asked the then principal how I did. She said, "When you talked about what you had personally experienced, you had them in the palm of your hand. When you talked about "stuff" as concepts, their attention drifted.

Prove it. In what way does he think the world revolves around him? How is he any more that type of person than any of his predecessors? I'm impressed that you rabid Obama-haters have a four-syllable word in your vocabulary, but the personality disorder known as narcissism encompasses far more than what you've quoted in the above definition.
LOL why don't you show the video of Bush swaying and smiling to the Battle Hymn when the Obama's and Biden's were solemn and looking to the ground. Not saying he doesn't care but if Obama did this he would be crucified. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't just like you're doing now

Obama swaying to the battle hymn? Highly unlikely. Not unless there are references to cop killing, drugs and "ho's" in the lyrics.

After all, just who evented the selfie stick! Only a narcissist would!
