Yea, that's it.

Human nature is not a global conspiracy, no. Neither is the basic math of home economics.

But the left has become just as crazy. Their new consensus is that white cops are on a campaign to shoot innocent black people, when all the data shows this is not true, and that blacks aren't disproportionately being shot, and that there is no evidence of an increase in overall police shootings. Just like the right wingers, they deny this data and whip themselves up into a frenzy by virally sharing edited video clips of police shootings, largely skewing the facts about the incidents without ever reading any published and factual statements of the incident, or looking at slow motion video analysis.

First they said Michael Brown was shot in the back, but the autopsy showed he was shot in the front, mostly in the arm...the arm that was reaching inside the police vehicle. They said Alton Sterling was lying on his back compliant, but video and police reports show he was resisting arrest, he was armed, and he was trying to pull out a gun on the police officers. They initially said Eric Garner was choked for over a minute until he died but the video showed he was placed in a choke hold only for a mere 15 seconds. The rest of the arrest used standard applied pressure to hold a suspect down which resulted in death because he had asthma, a heart condition and was obese. The latest conspiracy post say that Alva Braziel had his hands in the air when police in Houston shot him, but slow motion analysis of the video shows after he had his hands in the air he then lowered them and pointed a gun at police who only then shot him.

Situations of real police brutality, such as the Walter Scott shooting, are rare, and they have always led to arrest and prosecution of the police officer. The ridiculous Black Lives Matter slogan "Am I next?" is on posters at protest and all over social media. The truth is, unless you are a career criminal who is reaching for a gun while dealing with police, or you are resisting arrest and have health problems, then no, you are not next.
Who is crazier?

Posters who come up with these ridiculous posts

Leftists reject evolution when it interferes with their social ideals. Mention that intelligence is a heritable genetic trait that has been influenced by environment, and science goes out the window for the left.

Is it your contention that all the AGW climate models have been accurate?

Is it your contention that data has not been "corrected"?

You can either be honest or you can DENY the truth.

I don't think one is more stupid than the other. Frankly, I tend to think people who do are usually stupid themselves.

There's no excuse for not believing in evolution. You're just flat out wrong. Most aren't necessarily stupid, they're just uncompromising in their own view.

The climate change one is a little different than you frame it and I wouldn't say they're stupid for it either. 97% of scientists to agree: climate change is a thing and it is effected by human activity. The disagreement happens when we say to what extent we're a part of it and how serious the results will be. Conservatives tend to think our impact is exaggerated while liberals tend to think otherwise. Neither are necessarily right or wrong.

As for police shootings, police brutality is a thing and liberals are voicing concerns about it more so than conservatives. Their focus on race however is counter productive. It's a smart tactic and in fairness, a higher percentage of blacks are targeted than whites, however, this is not necessarily because cops are racist. While it'd be asinine to say racism has never effected justice (asinine is underselling it, to be honest), black people do commit more crime. That's just a ****ty fact. The reason is probably because black people are more likely to live in poverty than white people and people living in poverty often commit more crime. Could them being in poverty be a result of racism? Probably, but that solution at the scale we're talking is not going to be solved by the highly divisive black lives matter crowd and the moderate liberals who give these people the benefit of the doubt are causing more problems than they're solving.

Why does no one ever mention the liberal anti vaccine crowd or the liberal anti fluoride crowds in California when discussing crazy anti science people.

Because that is not how genes work. Unlike an inherited trait like eye color, which seems to be determined by 15 different genes working in combination with one another, we can't point to a set number of genes that determine intelligence. And unlike an inherited trait like eye color, intelligence develops over time in response to a person's environment, so is not determined by genetics alone.

I'm not sure about anti-fluoride crowds, but studies that have been done on the anti-vax crowd have shown it to be pretty evenly split amongst liberals and conservatives. Anti-vax may be one of those rare topics with bi-partisan agreement on both sides.

The whole 'right/left wing'...

There are very reasonable and learned people who are skeptical with how 'climate change' is promoted, specifically solutions.

Not every cop is trying to shoot a black guy.

One can be skeptical about both ascertations and not be 'left or right'. Many of us are just really pissed off about the entire political-economic climate and how it's reported.

Perhaps if you stopped categorizing all conservatives (especially libertarian conservatives) as "right-wingers", you might get a better view of the broader picture.

Post#2 is an excellent illustration of this point; I'm well aware of climate change - the climate has been changing since the dawn of recorded history. What raises my skepticism is the morphing of "climate change" into "global warming" with cuddly polar-bear commercials aimed at 12-year-olds, and the stifling of all dissenters as "deniers" or "haters", and the conviction that only another layer of environmental bureaucracy (with cushy paychecks for those in agreement) can save us from a nebulous, unspecified disaster.
