Do progressives really believe in population control? (Glenn Beck, death, Clinton)

I see the terms 'eugenics' and 'sterilization' when I read about progressive movements. Just wondering if this is part of the ideology of current progressives in the US or not.

Eugenics isn't population control. It is a selective breeding program, and was the thrust of Hitler's ideology.

Hitler was a socialist, and was tight with Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood. Democrat Woodrow Wilson was also on board.

Most recently, I heard it on the Glenn Beck radio program. I don't usually listen to it, but just flipping through. They were talking to that D'Souza guy whose made a documentary film about Hillary Clinton

D'Souza wrote a book (And movie) about how Obama was a secret muslim who wanted to turn the U.S. into a muslim caliphate.

I actually have a couple very good friends who believe in population control (saying that "Earth is full"). I asked them if they would volunteer themselves toward this effort, and they got a little bit uncomfortable...

People are pretty willing to decide life/death/reproduction for others, but rarely apply it to themselves.
