The Turkish military is and always been secular, and has been the only thing that has stopped Turkey from becoming a radicalized Islamic state. They have done coups in the past just for this reason.
Turkey has drifted way into the realm of being a radical Islamic state, I hope the military ousts the leadership and restore Turkey back to what it was.
Well, people did see something coming, there has been massive arrests over the years of military members who were suspected in being involved in a coup threat, and Erogan's departure out of Turkey recently also had a sense a coup may occur if he is out of the country. Also, Turkey has a history of these things.
But yea, I doubt ISIS saw this one, if it is successful, ISIS is finished.
