A republican lawmaker and American Airlines pilot has some strong opinions and choice words to share regarding Hillary Clinton. Apparently, he tweeted that she should be hung at a national mall over the email scandal.
Sorry, but saying stuff like that is extreme, inflammatory, and will only bring about problems for someone working in government. American Airlines was quick to express their disapproval of his message as well. Wonder what else is in store for him.
Freedom of speech is an important value that we work hard to protect. But it doesn't mean you are immune from the fallout. Besides, he should know better than anyone that there is a system of regulation for people like HC, and there is the system for everyone else. And he is everyone else.
the catch 22 with freedom of speech is this....you're allowed to say anything you want, but, people don't have to accept it or like it and those same people are allowed to condemn and blackball you and make your life otherwise hard if they decide that's what they want to do, you can say it, but people don't have to accept it.
He has been suspended by United. Rightly so. He has his right of freedom of speech but no employer in their right mind would allow this kind of extreme rhetoric to reflect on their corporate image. He comes across as a rabid nut case. Would you fly United knowing this guy was at the controls.
