Unreal, sad events but not surprised it happened again. It's ridiculous that this is still happening, and i have a gut feeling this is going to get worse. The U.S looks like a 3rd world country at the moment (no offense) and i hope this crap ends SOON.
Uh; not true. When the Guard was activated in LA back in 1992; the hood rats and their fans started standing DOWN like as in real fast cause "stuff got real". The rats KNEW they'd be shot IF they even thought of drawing on a Guardsman.
I live in LA, and what you said is correct. But as the saying goes "the good must suffer with the bad".
We were under Martial Law for about 4 days. You were to be in your home by dusk or you could be arrested. The economic impact with businesses and stores being closed wasn't good, in addition to having to be subjected to this.
It wasn't fun, and quite chilling to see a tank go down Santa Monica Blvd.
I worry that we will see Martial Law in this country, or that least in major cities.
But I think this has been in the works a long time. Just happens to be in an election year....hmmmm.

No different with curfews in places that got hit by tornadoes like Joplin, Missouri a few years back.
Not by that alone. No.....this is something that has been building for decades. No singular election will fix it alone.
