Any 'test' you could ever find, I'll pass with flying colors. But you are making a political/societal point, not a logical.

You don't... Unless you want to restrict others access. Simple. And not all ky is how you frequently describe. I'm moving myself because the growth is out of control.

To the original point: vernacular is used to devise laws. Introduction of another term only increases the 'creep' of scope.

Jeeez Louise......It ain't a new term! It hasn't just been introduced. It's been around forever and is used from time to time by reporters, cops, kindergarten teachers, and soccer moms.......get over it you bunch of wussies!

Cripes; does every bed have to have a boogyman under it in scaredy-land?

If you're that sure it's a conspiracy to grab your frikken guns, move someplace where you don't need the dang things. It ain't rocket science. Get over your fear and move along. You can do it. I know you all can. Stepping on a crack in the sidewalk didn't break your back in spite of the little ditty you all seem to still rhyme off every time another penny drops.

Since you are white and probably not Muslim, if you killed someone, the media would say that you did so with an assault rifle. If you converted to Islam, the same crime would be committed with "a long gun". I would offer that you probably cannot change your race, so that option is off the table.

If you do actually own weapons, do you support the 2nd amendment, or not?
The only clause or amendment to the United States Constitution that I don't support is the 12th Amendment. I think the electoral college system is an abomination. There are some others with which I might have some quibble about the language, or the way it is interpreted by the courts, but the 12th is the only one I think was actually a mistake (well, aside from the 18th, but that's been fixed).

I'm not sure what that has to do with my question, though. How does a gun-owning liberal who rabidly supports the 2nd Amendment fit your narrative about liberals and guns?

What is all this nonsense?
The term 'long gun' is the correct legal term in the US when discussing or doing any legal paper work dealing with firearms that are not pistols. The term has been around forever.

If you vote for anti gun politicians your support is empty and meaningless, just hot air. If you help elect politicians like Diane If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them . . . Mr. and Mrs. America, turn 'em all in, I would have done it. Feinstein (D) you couldn't possibly be a rabid 2nd amendment supporter.

That's a whole of "ifs," there. Seeing as how you couldn't possibly have any idea of who I do and do not vote for, I assume your use of the word "you" is the generic, third-person form, rather than the second-person.
