Given the findings coming to light of Russian government involved rampant corruption of lab testing Russian athletes urine samples; should an outright ban of Russia be enacted to send a signal to all countries, maintenance of whatever ethics remain in the Olympic arena is paramount if they're to have any relevance at all?

definitely! they've lost their right to compete. in fact, their entire sporting history is now in question. how many past winner were doped up?

China also cheats by lying about the age of Olympians. They've been stripped of medals for doing it in gymnastics.

Wrong. China was under investigation but they were not stripped of medals based on the results.
Why do people keep posting faulse information?

I thought they were already banned.

Most of those Olympic-athletes are using some sort of "chemical enhancement". Russia just went a little too far in their sponsoring and organization of doping-programs.

aside from what some wackadoodle said, do you have any evidence to support that most athletes use chemical enhancements? they are tested constantly.
