Webster's - communism
a way of organizing a society in which the government owns the things that are used to make and transport products (such as land, oil, factories, ships, etc.) and there is no privately owned property

Webster's - Socialism
any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
Yeah - they are 180 degrees apart...

The safety net is money that is pooled to help ALL.
I am assuming you will move to a 3rd world country where there is no social security.

To google something or look it up in the dictionary does not make you an expert. Socialism is different in every European country. Heck, socialism is also different in the USA.

More worker-owned businesses are sprouting

A growing number of employers are devising an innovative remedy for wage stagnation and income inequality: turning their workers into owners.

Last month, top Greek yogurt maker Chobani cast a national spotlight on the trend by announcing that the company’s 2,000 full-time employees will receive shares worth up to 10% of the company’s value when it goes public or is sold.

Yet the two most prominent ways to give workers significant stakes — employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and worker cooperatives — go quite a bit further, handing as much 100% of a company to its employees.

Socialism has been tried by many countries and it never succeeded. Each time it caused millions of death.

As i said, just move to a 3rd world country.
All advanced 1st world countries have a safety net. Why? Because they are more advanced and civilized; they actually live in the 21st century.

Conservatives by definition are stuck in the 18th century.

All Scandinavian countries are socialist; Germany is socialist.

I think the right wing folks need to get more educated. Repeating old recycled phrases in a vacuum from the 1950s does advance your point of view.

As countries mature and become more technologically advanced they tend to add socialism to the mixture; this is unavoidable and a sign of progress to a less barbaric society.

Incorrect. Those countries have large portions of their countries supported by capitalism. They are poorly run socialist countries.

Nazi Germany, USSR, China, N Korea, Vietnam etc. were and some still are well run socialist countries. Name one that hasn't murdered millions of their own citizens.
