In a split from Obama, former 2016 presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (D) rallied his supporters to urge the Democratic National Committee to include language in their platform rejecting the TPP, but his efforts were unsuccessful.

Clinton, who supported the trade deal as secretary of state, but changed her mind after she read the final deal, is likely to face continued scrutiny about how she will handle the trade deal if she is elected. The problem for Clinton is that she has historically backed free-trade deals, and as secretary of state called the TPP

The Obama administration is pressing Congress to vote on the deal after the November 2016 elections, but, even if there is support for the deal, the next president may attempt to withdraw from the agreement.

But for Europeans the most significant of these agreements remains shrouded in almost complete secrecy. The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), which is currently under negotiation between the US and the European Union, remains closely guarded by negotiators and big corporations have been given privileged access. The public cannot read it.

Today WikiLeaks is taking steps to ensure that Europeans can finally read the monster trade deal, which has been dubbed an "economic NATO" by former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

More importation of cheap labor and outsourcing to areas with cheap labor.

It's the 21st century version of a 19th\20th century mechanism that benefited the rich.

Instead of having child labor, people working in squalor for low wages, no rights, no safety, no protective laws....in the US like we did at the turn of the last century....you instead just outsource it to someplace like China so we can absolve ourselves at arms length.

It is getting all stinky up in here, after this pops on the info highway....

The DNC and the entire establishment part of the RNC are on notice. The firing squad is not far from reaching its target. Keep it up, it is making the case for mass executions for traitors to the people of the USA.
We don't have royalty here.

Jeeez, you've managed to write a decent synopsis of the TTIP in a few sentences, just wish our government could write those agreements with such brevity and transparency..

Hey, we pay them well with our hard earned tax dollar to keep people confused and uninformed.
