In other words ALL SEMI-AUTOMATIC GUNS ARE NOW BAND.
That language is intened to be interpretive so it can apply to all other semi autos without actually stating such in the law, making it unpalatable and raise a strom of protest. ...a case could easily be made all semi autos operate the same way.

a bayonet lug and flash guard make a gun an assault weapon in NJ.

My concern is mass will make it mandatory for hunters heading to ME, VT, NH call ahead to warn the state police you are travelling thru with a semi auto rifle, the same as they do now if you travel thru mass on the way north and again heading south to home.

This can't be true, we are repeatedly told fears of a gun ban are illogical and unfounded.
