It is like a mild dose of LSD...

So that is part of the problem....pot is no longer pot. It is right up there with opiates and booze. Because of this super strain that is now the norm...it is a lucrative product right up there with cocaine. Young users become addicted...This was not the case 30 years ago...so those who think that modern super powered pot is harmless are in dream land...

In Canada there is a battle taking place between organized crime and government...on who will corner and control the dope market. It is much like the days of prohibition...which was not about morality or public health...but about MONEY. In our society MONEY trumps good civil mental health of the citizens.

I am not a prude and talk from experience...Dope is dope and we are not sure how super pot will effect the development of young chronic addicts...How will these users fair in 20 years? I suspect we will have a lot of stupid people to take care of....not to mention the rise and dominance of immigrant cultures that are not doped up...and who's kids are taught that dope is harmful....there is time and place for everything...but not all the time...

Pot if used all the time will make you STUPID...and you will not be able to compete with those who are moderate of abstainers.
Why worry about stronger marijuana? Nobody worries about the impact of 190 proof Everclear, which has been available for decades, on drunks.

Because prohibitionists are inherently stupid.

One only has to look at the OP (terrorist poisons water supply with THC) to come to that conclusion.

True, but you start bending laws for convenience, we no longer have a free society

You would make a great dictator. You would punish 100 million drinkers because 15 million people can't control themselves.
Yes I would, reason being, 15 million people can kill a lot of people...the only way to keep a society in check is to make very strict rules....with large consequences.

Did you really honestly expect me not to argue this point?[/quote]

120 million people drink. Yep there are tens of millions of drunks driving at all times

15 million are alcoholics. Not 15 milion drunk drivers

Then I assume you have no problem with honey oil?

Have you used it?

Really want me to continue posting numerous evidentiary stories of water supplies being poisoned by dope growers?

You'll lose that one on its face

And as so often the case... Potheads get it wrong... Read my post starting this thread again...all of it.. comprehension is something that someone who regularly uses pot loses...and for those heavy users from their teens through adulthood their use results in a permanent loss of iq.

Perhaps some will be unaffected.... Nope... Doubt it

No actually I hate the concept of druggies walking around all over the place stinking of pot, and high...

There is nothing more pathetic then someone who is either high or drunk...has nothing to do with liberty...and everything to do with some pathetic drug user smoking a joint in front of kids...yeah, great role model....

name calling and personal attacks get you no where.....

I've heard people express similar sentiment about religious people, that people who are overly religious are bad parents for brainwashing their children. Tell me, if I were to say we should ban religion and arrest anyone who practices it, would you say that's liberty or not?

Once you've answered that, I'd like you to explain how the concept of drug prohibition and religious freedom are similar or different as a way of justifying your answer, primarily with the assumption that you would not support ending religious freedom. We'll see where your principles truly lie.

Would you like me to post evidence of chemical run off from large scale farms poisoning water supply? Or the air? With that in mind (since every informed person is aware that this happens), do you want to end all agriculture?

If not (which I can't imagine you'd support this, but this forum is full of surprising views), explain why you think harmful things from one industry justify making it's existence illegal and why other industry's doing harm does not. And let's bare in mind just how many industry's are free to do pretty much whatever with little regulation which do measurable harm. I used agriculture. There are more. Energy companies, retailers, the internet! I mean, there's child porn on the internet; shouldn't we ban the internet?

1st this isn't about religion....2nd, the people you have heard refer to religious people as pathetic are certainly not on a large scale as the subject we're talking about...there is no comparison. 3rd, Point is, religion is not banned.

We have, and we've all been laughing at you. As for comprehension, what is YOUR excuse for the lack of it?
