You can call voting third party a wasted vote. I think voting for someone because they're less crap than the other guy is more of a wasted vote. And a system that rewards that is a wasted democarcy.
I believe people should vote for who they feel best represents them. For some people, that actually might be Trump and Clinton. But a lot of people voting for them are doing so because of the old 'lesser of two evils' business. Why reward that sort of thinking? I'd much rather influence the election by voting for someone I would actually want as president, even if that means the real president is someone I really don't want than voting for someone I only marginally don't want to avoid someone I really don't want. If I'm screwed either way, I might as well go down fighting and vote for someone I actually can stand.
And let's not forget; that's not entirely a wasted vote. Johnson appeals to liberals and conservatives, but let's pretend he mostly appeals to liberals for a second. Trump wins because just a few too many liberals went with Johnson over Clinton. The Democrats are now sitting here wondering how this happened. They look at why Johnson did so well with their target demographic and start changing things in their own party to make them a better party. And this same situation can be applied to conservatives and the Republican party. And if both sides are too unwilling to change, then who knows, maybe a powerful third party will start being a thing.
Trump, a multi billionaire, does "not belong to the 0.1%"? Huh? What does he belong to? I would say the crooked welfare class of failed developers.
I have looked at the policies proposed by the Libertarian party and they would be very harmful to me. They would be very beneficial to Trump and the rest of his billionaire investor parasites.
It is one thing to bank that in the private sector, running a business. It is an entirely different situation to bank that and be in the political sector, holding office or constantly running for one.

give me the guy who knows finance, how to bargain and handle money over a corporate bought and paid for shill who hasn't built, run and hired anything or anybody.

I believe the same.
I'd also say that a vote for someone who best represents the majority of people, who will restore the Constitutional, stop the wars on the world and citizens, is voting for a person who best represents me.
Quick:
If pointing out how Trump and Clinton are both opportunists insults anyone, that's not my problem.

I would certainly take Trump over Clinton, just as I would have taken Romney over Obama. The problem is we'd most likely still be in as deep a crap hole as we are now, albeit for very different reasons.
If Clinton gets in she will pass TPP , generic drugs will disappear and we will have to foot the bill for the original drug which is very expensive.. there are repercussions and people better become aware of them for there own good. Many things will change if Hillary gets in and it will not be pleasant. She is a job killer, will help out the banks, big business and kill us slaves for a dollar.
Welfare could disappear under Hillary because the money we borrow from other countries could stop . We could have many climate disasters , hurricanes, racial unrest, nuclear war and YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.
Just like the men in Benghazi.. they were on their own..

Trump doesn't know any of that. He only knows how to cheat his workers and his employees.
At least 60 lawsuits, along with hundreds of liens, judgments, and other government filings reviewed by the USA TODAY NETWORK, document people who have accused Trump and his businesses of failing to pay them for their work. Among them: a dishwasher in Florida. A glass company in New Jersey. A carpet company. A plumber. Painters. Forty-eight waiters. Dozens of bartenders and other hourly workers at his resorts and clubs, coast to coast. Real estate brokers who sold his properties. And, ironically, several law firms that once represented him in these suits and others.

Trump’s companies have also been cited for 24 violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act since 2005 for failing to pay overtime or minimum wage, according to U.S. Department of Labor data. That includes 21 citations against the defunct Trump Plaza in Atlantic City and three against the also out-of-business Trump Mortgage LLC in New York. Both cases were resolved by the companies agreeing to pay back wages.
His star student at Trump University says the whole thing was a con:
Trump University students—the very ones used by the presumptive Republican nominee’s legal team as evidence of that satisfaction—now tell The Daily Beast they were coerced into providing positive reviews and conned out of their life’s savings with little to show for their trouble besides a mountain of debt.
USA Today also found more than 200 mechanics' liens dating back to the 1980s, which were filed by contractors and employees claiming that Trump or his various companies and properties owed them payment for their work.
Since 2010, nearly 300 United States residents have applied or been referred for jobs as waiters, waitresses, cooks and housekeepers there. But according to federal records, only 17 have been hired. In all but a handful of cases, Mar-a-Lago sought to fill the jobs with hundreds of foreign guest workers from Romania and other countries.

the H-2B program that he so heavily used is even more egregious than the H-1Bs system that Disney took advantage of. Why? Well, because unlike H-1Bs — which can in theory be used to recruit skilled workers — H-2Bs are aimed directly at the bottom of the economic ladder.
Trump-owned companies have tried to import 1,100 workers on temporary visas since 2000.

Thomas Macari, a vice president of Trump-Equitable and its manager in charge of the demolition of the Bonwit Teller Building, was on the site regularly. According to the court opinion, Macari “was involved in every aspect of the demolition job. He knew the Polish workers were working ‘off the books,’ that they were doing demolition work, that they were non-union, that they were paid substandard wages with no overtime pay, and that they were paid irregularly if at all.”
If you do not vote for Trump, Clinton will be elected. Do you want that?
SEE, you make my point exactly. Vote for the lesser of two evils when there's a third better choice. We will never get out from under bad policy if we keep voting in tyrants.
Circulated to the Libertarian party: Did Ted Cruz just endorse Gary Johnson? It sure sounded like it and the LP proudly welcomes Cruz supporters.
Last night at the Republican National Convention, Sen. Cruz encouraged Americans to "vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust to defend freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution."
The party quickly ate Cruz for simply stating an obvious fact, common sense, and something the Republican party used to actually stand for. Why would they boo him for saying the basic things they're supposed to represent? It should give Trump supporters pause.
I'd also point out that being a Libertarian in CA makes it that much easier to vote my conscience, since any vote for Trump will be absolutely wasted anyway. I'd like to call out all CA conservatives to make a statement by voting for Johnson. How awesome would it be if Clinton came in 3rd?

Let's use an extreme example to highlight why this logic is bad. Let's say Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and George Washington are all running for president. Stalin and Hitler have the backing of two major political parties. Both are awful candidates and most people agree. But, many people think that Stalin would be worse, so they vote for Hitler because at least he loves his country. But many see Washington and think how great it'd be if he won but few will vote for him because he's just not likely to win being in a third party.
Do you see why the 'lesser of two evils' isn't a good reason to vote. I know the examples are extreme and of course a little absurd, but it highlights an important point. If one candidate clealry represents your views better, why shouldn't you vote for them?
