"Democrats represent a majority of the richest congressional districts"
"In 2014, the median income of households in Democratic districts was higher than in Republican districts, $53,358 to $51,834. Democrats represent seven of the 10 most affluent districts, measured by household income (four in California, two in Virginia and one in New York). Democrats also represent a majority of the 100 most affluent districts, 54-46."
So we're assuming that every person in a household in a Democratic district 1) votes and 2) votes for democrats?
I wonder who is getting the federal subsidies for the absurd Gasohol program? That corn is not grown in Democratic strongholds. Same probably applies to sugar beets and a host of other crops we do not need.
Name the states that take in the most "welfare"? What is defined as "welfare"? I cannot read the article.
It's the same old tired article/data that liberals have been trolling with for years. They always consider gov. spending on things like military bases and NASA as welfare.
Democrats more likely to be wealthy than Republicans. No wonder.. hatred, bigotry, antisocial and sociopathic thoughts do actually make it harder to hold down a job.
Most highschool dropouts are democrats. No wonder they swallow every lie liberals toss out. Most working class people are conservatives, it's no wonder the dropouts and elitist snobs don't recognize that.

That doesn't mean that Democrats are more likely to be wealthy. Affluent districts tend to be in or near large cities... the same places that the Collectivist Democrat Borg like to congregate. It fails to account for the millions of poor Democrats everywhere else.
Can it be stretched to say that Republicans are more likely to be on welfare than Democrats? Then why do they hate on welfare so much?
Makes me think of video games when the worst player on the team is most likely to talk crap to his teammates about their performance.
