If the lower class consists of people of a certain race, the country will be very ugly.
Unfortunately, in most if not all multiracial countries, race is highly correlated with class.

What you may not know is that American citizenship is also a government privilege, not imposed at birth.
Citizenship comes with mandatory civic duties, that would be involuntary servitude if imposed at birth. Ergo, citizenship is a voluntary assertion - and a drop in status - as one waives / surrendered endowed rights for government privileges (political and civil liberties).
"The better to secure and perpetuate mutual friendship and intercourse among the people of the different states in this union, the free inhabitants of each of these states... shall be entitled to all privileges and immunities of free citizens in the several states ..."
[Article IV of the Articles of Confederation (1777)]
Feel free to ask your public servants to explain WHO the free inhabitants / non-citizens are.

The REAL ISSUE regarding illegal aliens is their abuse of public charity (entitlements) that should only go to those voluntary socialists, via FICA. But the government knows it would cause bad publicity to enforce the socialist laws as written.

I have no problems with immigrants, and I think most Americans don't. Most of us are 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants ourselves.

Hell, my dad's parents were from Canada and I'm married to an immigrant.

People have a problem in this country with ILLEGAL immigrants constantly raping our system.

Whether it's Mexicans crossing the border or various Asians not respecting their Visa limit.

We should continue speaking out against these people.

They are a burden on the healthcare system and a burden on the workforce.

So buzz off OP. We're speaking out to defend our country.

I knew some illegals who rented a home from a friend the way it worked was 2 woman who were illegally in the country rented 5 bedroom home each had 4 kids so 8 kids living in the home. The fathers who were married but not known to the welfare system. The men worked construction framing jobs under the table illegal documents. The 8 kids were anchor babies they all were US born so each one got welfare checks, and food stamps. The men drove brand new pickup trucks they had a new SUV as well. They were scamming the system. My friend who spoke spanish he said they took in about 8k a month in welfare and food stamps. The men made 5k a month sent most of that back to Mexico.

Another scam he said was the men own a home and rent it to their woman who have US born kids on welfare. Everyone works under the table since it pays to keep having more kids that's what they do as long as you have kids under 18 years old welfare keeps paying.

During Bill Clinton or Bush era they forced welfare mothers to come to the office and look for work 2 times a week this actually reduced the scamming because they didn't want to be hassled with that. When Obama took over he removed that requirement and scamming went back the way it was.

Our landscaper/gardner works around our bldg twice a week and does me favors and I will give him a little cash now and then, which he refuses but I push it in his pocket. He is the best person and never a complaint.

Then, just talking to my neighbor who has to be in a rehab facility now going on a month as she fell and broke her shoulder. Who do you think works around the clock in those facilities, people from so many parts of the world...doing so much dirty work that WE do not want to do. Cleaning up s**t, changing adult diapers, helping people walk....You want to do this kind of work?

Then there are a ones who are hired to clean houes, clean toilets, take care of children.

Stop and think about this all you spoiled americans and STOP the bashing. Be thankful when you spend your unemployment and welfare checks and spend your food stamps.
I will NOT stop bashing on illegal immigrants. And no they do NOT "do the jobs that Americans won't do". That is a liberal BS lie to try to fool people in to accepting illegals.

Liberals are such hypocrites. You all rail against the wealthy because you want them to give to the poor but you have zero problems with allowing people to come here and get paid peanuts, not even minimum wage, while you screech and holler for YOUR minimum wage increases.

I don't give a crap what your landscaper/gardener, (FFS, just listen to your entitled self..my GOD - okay Mr. 1%er) does, nor do I care if people get hot working out in the fields. I don't have a lot of sympathy for criminals who believe that they are entitled to come here however they see fit. And I sure as hell don't have any sympathy for an elitist liberal twit telling me how I need to feel.

The reason so many Americans are on welfare and using food stamps is because IDIOTIC LIBERALS allow illegals to come in take the jobs. Those jobs could be had by SO. MANY. Americans!

Agreed. Look at that, OP. This person I quoted is one of the most liberal people I've come across on City Data...so when your words have me agreeing with that person, it's fair to say that you have failed. I have to amend my earlier claims...it's not all liberals...unfortunately it's ENOUGH liberals who think like you, OP. We need MORE liberals...and I never in my life thought I would type these words: who think like jojajn..............at least when it comes to illegal immigration.

Suck it up, OP, not even all liberals agree with you.

Who are you kidding because it is not any of us with brains in our heads, now the sheep that is another story.

Your not talking about legal immigrants and you know it, stop the BS. Your talking about illegal immigrants, and substituting illegal for legal.

None of us has a problem with those who are legal immigrants and had the decency to come to this Country legally. What part of breaking the laws is acceptable to you.

The cost all around associating with illegals being here is unbelievable, if we have to tell you all this, then something is mighty wrong.

And stop buying into the BS that some are trying to sell you.

Not just liberals who support illegals many republicans who were lobbied by big business's also want to keep illegals working in those, "Jobs no one wants". Why do you think the US Chamber of Commerce was against e-verify for so long. In my state AZ we passed a law which put teeth into E-Verify any business who didn't use E-verify and got caught not using it can have their business license taken away. The US Chamber of Commerce went all the way to the supreme court fighting it. Meat packing industry has for years put bill board signs in Mexico, and Central America advertising jobs in America they don't explain how to get to the job it's obvious. The chamber has been very successful in keeping E-Verify from being mandatory across the country. I have said for years stop the employers from hiring illegal immigration will end they will self deport no need for walls or new immigration programs. Business's want to keep the "Don't ask Don't tell" system in place they can claim ignorance when illegals are caught working for them. https://www.azag.gov/legal-az-workers-act/employers

It is no surprise that business interests oppose a mandatory E-Verify system that is intended to deny jobs to illegal alien workers. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports mandatory E-Verify but only on the condition that federal law preempts states from taking any action to penalize employers who fail to comply. This newfound support for mandatory E-Verify came about after the Supreme Court decided against the Chamber (Chamber of Commerce v. Whiting) and in favor of Arizona, which had made E-Verify mandatory for all employers in the state and instituted penalties for those criminal employers who failed to comply. Business Interests Seek to Undermine E-Verify’s Effectiveness

Nowhere in there does it say you have the "right to work". That is YOUR interpretation.

All we ask is that they become legal American citizens, pay taxes, and abide by our laws. No big deal there, right? I totally appreciate their hard work, truly appreciate it. Thanks to my USMC Father, when I was a teenager, I worked in the fields and the warehouses picking and packing vegetables...I know how hard it is. But, come on...really?
