That is a lame excuse for dropping charges against somone in a murder case. Also why did they drive the van the way they did with somone in the back? For officer's own protection? Why didn't they drive him directly to the destination?
They shouldn't have been charged with murder in the first place. Mosby's first mistake in this whole cluster was trumping up the charges against them. She *may* have had better success shooting for manslaughter, but she indignantly (and foolishly) pushed for murder instead. Nothing the involved officers did could be proven as murder. Not even close. She fubared the case from day one.
The judge is stupid.
He denied prosecution based on the fact that officers couldn't be convicted just for not using seat belts.
He said seat belt violation is not criminal.
He is stupid.
There was another case where a boyfriend had seatbelt and girlfriend didn't.
He drove the car into a wall and girlfriend died.
He was convicted of murder, not seat belt violation.
That stupid judge didn't think why it was not used.
It was to kill someone but dumb old judge dropped charges because it's the cops, not civilian.
That's how our system is always in favor of cops, whether bad or good.
The pigs very well knew putting him in the van all tied up but without seat belt will injure him, especially when they jam on the brakes and turn corners on purpose. These are the very pigs that kill other good cops by public anger.
I wish very bad luck to these criminal cops who are now smiling behind the uniform. "See we killed that black guy and nothing happened. We can do it again and nothing will happen."
Why don't you tell us how you really feel? Its a tragedy and Mr. Gray had many of them in his life. He did not hit the starting gate with any advantages and his death while tragic is not criminal. No one is stupid here, least of the the judge who tried his best to help Mosby's attorneys understand how to try the case.
The case thats got me is Eric Garner who clearly was killed by the cops. Justice in that case is weeping for a fair hearing 2 years after the event. But you know every person has to see Jesus alone so I guarantee you the cops who killed Garner are not going anywhere fast.
She basically called out the justice system - the one that she studied for and whom employs her - as unfair and broken. In my opinion, she came across like a teenaged girl who just had her iPhone taken away for breaking curfew. Not a career highlight.

Mosby included many lesser offenses, hoping there'd be a conviction for something. In fact the one trial held with a jury instead of the judge ended in a hung jury.
She comes out of this a winner. Convictions on minor offenses isn't as good for her as the opportunity to blame 'the system' for the verdicts:
“After much thought and prayer it has become clear that without being able to work with an independent investigatory agency from the very start, without having a say in the election of whether cases proceed in front of a judge or jury, without communal oversight of police in this community, without substantive reforms to the current criminal justice system, we could try this case 100 times and cases just like it and we would still end up with the same result," Mosby said."
She personally could only lose by Not pressing charges.

She screamed and yelled. She is not impartial at all. She embarrassed herself and the city that employs her!
