The biggest factor is who is running the Congress.....Clinton, Bush, Obama have all done great when they had a Republican Congress and all sucked when they had a Dem Congress.

Democrat created bubbles are not cool! When they see their plan isn't working they pop the bubble as the ball changes hands. Like the 2006 elected congress did. They saw it playing out and were even warned... Nope, pin this on Bush and we will hold a super majority for 1000 years

The economy in this country never does well with a Democrat in office. Under Reagan, Bush 41, and some of Bush 43's administration, our economy had always been prosperous. Jobs were plentiful and more people had steady work.

You don't have to go far to see how individual states are doing. Republican-led states have robust economies, job growth, lower taxes, and more people moving to those places.
