Who are you slave to?... And indentured to what? If you want to share..just for context...

Should Pocahontas in the end have been shot?

The video was made public by the city of Winslow on Wednesday, and obtained by 12 News, just days after the Maricopa County Attorney's Office said that Officer Shipley was justified in the shooting.

The officer was responding to a report of a possible shoplifting on March 27 in Winslow when he fatally shot Tsingine on a sidewalk.

There was two cops there. They could have possibly dis-armed her with the scissors....or was the shooting justified?

" They could have possibly dis-armed her with the scissors."

What GROSS assumption.

How many people have YOU ever stopped with scissors?

If the nation is 17 trillion in dept and 50 trillion in debt when it comes to unfunded liabilities....are not all workers in America Indentured Servants? Debt is a form of slavery, as well as poverty, as well as incarceration.

Look....my beef is basically police policy to shoot to kill in all cases. No one went to jail in this incident below. Its not about ONE incident....its the drum beat of hundreds of such examples of overuse of force where the officers are totally exonerated....because its basically the policy and expectations of law enforcement to do such. This would change if the white population spoke out against it but too many whites see the police as a force to keep the poor and minority in check....so they will accept collateral damage so that it strikes fear of poor and minority population.

We had a guy, black belt and more, who ran a school teaching Ju Jitsu, Judo, etc. and all kinds of self defense classes.

His TV ads showed 3 men attacking him and him "defeating" them.

One night while walking to his car 2 men attacked him and BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HIM.

Ok..I understand your screen name...and agree...

As to use of force...and what a force continuum actually is... What deadly force is. Why..when and how it can be applied... Please..if you are going to discourse find out what it is. .

Deadly force is ALWAYS the last resort...always... But..it can get there in a blink of an eye based upon the actions of a citizen.

Then please stop comparing your level of thuggery when you were a youngster to Mr. Brown. It only takes one bad decision to have horrible, fatal consequences - whether we're talking about drinking, drugs, robbery, interacting with police, whatever. Some people only ever get one chance and their first bad decision costs them the ultimate price. It sucks, but it happens every day.

Also, I would say it was the presence of intelligence, not the absence of testicular fortitude that prevented you from acting on those feelings.

BTW, I'm glad you turned it around. I'm also glad you went into IT, as an IT consultant myself I know we need more good geeks out there doing work.

My overall point is that he should not have did what he did.......but the officer did not need to kill him. There was no offense committed by Mike Brown that would be punishable by death in any court of law. Thus, whatever Mike Brown criminal history was, if it falls short of being punishable by death, its not germane. Calling him a THUG is simply an attempt make his killing acceptable.

Police are given the benefit of the doubt for their fears....and hence actions taken by them based upon their fears. Well.......people have legitimate reason to fear the police also and hence they too can also act out of fear. That is the problem. Black men are judged as not having fears that justify any of their actions. Their actions are always assumed to be rooted in malice, anger and just a desire to be violent. On the other hand, the police are given the benefit of the doubt of being "righteous" and only responding to fear and danger. They are human and have human frailties no more or less than do black men.
