They blew it. They ran with overwhelming pessimism, and said nothing good about the US as a nation. Worse, the Dems picked up on it and ran on optimism. Looking at the polls, the damage is done. Luckily for GOP, there is still plenty of time.
Seriously? Lefty flag burners have been around since the sixties.
How old are you?
Absolutely, but that doesn't make it a fetish of the left. It makes it a symbol of protest for the disaffected. As to your second question, old enough to remember at least a couple of years of the sixties.
UMMM, you need to pay more attention many, many more than one. Plus, the left has a fetish for the Hammer and Sickle Flag........nothing compared to "Don't tread On Me Flag!".....
........
That's brings back a sad memory. Look at this Anti-Viet Nam war demonstration. Take a gander at the flags those soldier supporting patriots are flying.
The flag of the country that we were at war with. The one killing our soldiers. Sick, sick, sick.
And the photo was taken in the United States, where it's legal to do that. First Amendment. Those of you who cling to the Second Amendment so desperately should understand. But you don't. Why is that?
The leaders of the party need to tell the people to stop doing it......the leaders happen to meet with these same people. Occupy Wall Street, BLM and others. I was not talking about your personal flag or experience. Republicans are not seen burning the flag and if they were they would be stopped.
Yeah. Remember the much reviled-by-the-left Tea Partiers?
I see anyone burning the flag near me, and they're catching an open-hand slap at the very least. I don't care how anyone feels about that.
