In all of the Quran, it is covered only a few times in reference to modesty. The Quran neither speaks against nor in any way emphasizes that form of covering.
But there is a little hypocrisy done by the men of Islam per Quran (24:30-31) where both are supposed to dress modestly, yet only a few Muslim countries actually have their men follow it by skipping Quran (24:30)
To give one a perspective is to look at Chassidic Jews who wear clothing of modesty 365/24/7. Not one of them would dress any differently for a interview or for the first few days of a job.
You may want to read my post. Also notice that your link states Quran (24:30-31) but leaves out the words for Quran (24:30). It states it's is explained in the Hadith yet no section is referenced.
So you think religious discrimination is OK? We'll certainly agree to disagree on that one.
I'm saying in certain situations, albeit rare, some people might feel more comfortable with a Muslim not wearing a hijab, than they are with a Muslim wearing one.

So, religious discrimination is OK if some people are made more comfortable because of it?

It is enforcement of a dress code.
No one cared about her religion, till she wore a piece of clothing that violated the dress code.
Even worse, she misrepresented herself by going to the interview without it.
In the 50+ Muslim countries that Islam is occupying, the Muslims do not even give equal rights to the minority Non-Muslims (who are the original inhabitants), yet in every Non-Muslim country the same Muslims demand special privileges.
In Islam there is no not wearing it for a time (wearing one usually starts at puberty). She misrepresented herself by not wearing it at the interview and not wearing it for two business days.
Are you saying she should be fired because she was not a good Muslim? That's what it sounds like. Listen, Muslims are here and the courts will uphold whatever is perceived as "religious rights." I am afraid it is too late now and in spite of all this Hillary is beating Trump by 15 points. People don't care.
