One thing we teach kids in our schools is to "not take the bait" when it comes to dealing with taunting and bullying. Trump obviously wasn't taught that, and it's pretty pathetic to see a 70-year-old man have the social discipline of a 10 year old.
Justifying? Not really. Just reminding everyone including, apparently, you how it started.

As far as "taking the bait", I happen to agree with you.

You didn't address how this criticism is any different than the example I used except that the blowback was different.

Well, you know what? It doesn't matter. Trump caught it like Wild E. Coyote catching an anvil in the air and falling into the canyon. We'll take that.

Again, prove it.
I'd bet he paid MANY TIMES OVER what you paid.
So, how much DID you pay?

New Flash:
Agent Orange still refuses to release his tax returns--unlike his opponent, and unlike everyone else running for POTUS over the past few decades--so how much he paid--if anything--has to remain a very convenient mystery.

And, his excuse that he "can't release them because he is being audited" just doesn't "wash".
Richard Nixon's tax returns were also in the process of an IRS audit while he was running for POTUS, and yet Nixon released copies of those returns.

When somebody's level of disclosure drops below the level established by Tricky Dick, that should serve as a warning, but...clearly not for the tRump-bots.

Republican stalwarts ?? Hardly. They are afraid the Establishment will go down and their positions with it. They are simply looking for opportunities to preserve careers and status.

The stalwarts are the ones sticking with it for real change to this shameful political system where government has been taken away from the people (who pay the bills, by the way).

Trump told everyone early on that if he's hit, he'll hit back. He doesn't pretend to be what he isn't the way traditional politicians do just so they can get our vote.

The Benghazi Mom and Khan were two completely different situations not to mention that the Mother of the dead Benghazi contractor wasn't insulted by a presidential candidate. Trump failed the self control test, if he can't uses some judgment in this event why would you expect it on more complicated matters.

Okay for Khan to insult but not okay for Trump to comeback at him? Hypocrite much. The only thing Hillary has sacrificed is the lives of four Americans in Benghazi.

It's always about policy and not tabloid garbage.

Khan was responding to Trumps ban on Muslims, rather than just admitting his mistake Trump attacked Khan's wife. Clinton didn't sacrifice anyone but she took responsibility, do you also consider the other embassy attacks and Lebanon "sacrifices".
