But here's one:
The billionaires that control the Cato Institute seem hell bent on reversing the New Deal and many of the social advances that make America affordable and manageable.

That statement fails.
First, billionaires do not control Cato. The term 'billionaires' was used in order to inflame the reader.
Second: Which "social advances" does the Cato Institute "seem" to be "Hell Bent" on "reversing"? See? No discussion of exactly what Cato is suggesting. Just the directive that they are an enemy and should be despised.

Pathetic.
My mistake, I misinterpreted your original post.

The US Post Office is authorized by The Constitution. That's pretty much the end of that argument.

"Public Transportation"? What he heck is that on a nationwide scale?

Corporate and Banking Lobbyists flooded DC about 30 years ago and ever since, it has been one disaster after another with NAFTA, TPP, Bail Outs and so on.

If Big Business is in bed with Government, then there is no private sector about it.
I hate the ideal of the Financial Sector having even more of our money to play casino with given the destruction they caused in 2008 with toxic fraudulent instruments

I don't know what their position is but child labor laws can be very problematic. When I was kid there was tomato farm kids as young as 12 would work on, I'm sure some of them might of been there to help their family but the majority of them were working for themselves. There is some valuable lessons to be learned such as the value of a dollar, sense of accomplishment, work ethic etc. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I agree this is a valid & legitimate concern. Although how does Cato et al's position on privatizing the military address that concern?

They need to be shutdown.
Now you are talking. The "government" only works for the globalist elite, the Central Banking Families and Friends...so let's shut it down

FWIW - I am a "Nam veteran disabled by Agent Orange and have paid taxed to local, state and Federal Taxes for a very long time. I was also my stepfather's slave, including being hot for inexplicable reasons that made sense only to a drunk, until I got big and strong enough to effectively revolt.

Unlike most of this board I consider the "Takers" to be those that gain from monopoly profits and live off investment they inherited from their parents. they cost far more then poor people eking out an existence on welfare.
So you bled fighting the communists and you support what the communists have always wanted to impose?

The average "point-and -grunt" can't tell a million from a billion from a trillion; thinks anyone whose income is beyond five figures is incredibly wealthy, and that most of that wealth is cash in a vault somewhere

And therein lies most of the problem.
