That goofball Obama has done nothing to earn my respect, and he gets none.

I don't know if I respect Trump, but I admire his business acumen.

Hillary gets nothing from me other than an intense, visceral, vomit-inducing disgust.

Why do people still feel like they have to respect the office? What is there to respect? Executive orders?

respect the office not the person, until they earn it. to assume respect because of position or level is not what america is about.

Many have gone without a president for almost 8 years.

Given that most politicians disrespect the people they (supposedly) represent, seems like turn about is fair play.

Not true, they can be impeached.

Ask Bill Clinton. His abused and abusing wife can atest to that too if she manages to get elected.

Respect the office. The person, as the Clintons have proved beyond doubt, not really.

I've heard what you're saying before. But you need to understand that the best indication of intentions and attitudes for things like this is past performance. I'll believe lily white explanations when I see the proof...

These are only your opinions on the matter, mr. Lawyer. (Ive heard or gathered from other posts that you either identified self or were described with no objection as being a lawyer or attorney.)

The reverse racism thing aside, dont impose your beliefs on others. They are yours, but he will be PRESIDENT Trump.

Hopefully.

Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.

no I do not. I might have to acknowledge them as the potus of the USA, but I do not have to respect them at all. respect is earned, not given.

I never respected obama as potus at all either. he is a jerk when he could have done so much good for the USA when all he did was set back race relations and civil rights 50 years.
