Let me first say that I hope everyday that I will wake up and find out that we somehow have 2 new people running for president. So this isn't a defense of Trump. This is just exposing the incredible hypocrisy of the media.
After John Kerry lost to Bush, he actually joked on national TV about going to the White House and killing Bush. Specifically, he joked about hunting Bush like an animal. And not one peep from the mainstream media. I had never even heard of this until today, and I'm a pretty avid consumer of news.
