if you dont like it, then work to amend the constitution so that naturalized citizens can try to become president. you only need 2/3 of each house of congress, and 38 states to amend the constitution. go for it and see how far you get.
Actually, simply convincing the necessary amount of judges might do the trick in regards to this :

The Constitution says no.

i think they are barking up the wrong tree here, considering that the fifth amendment deals with crime and punishment. cant punish someone for a crime until such time as they have been given their day in court. you cant also take away ones rights without giving them their day in court. nothing in the constitution gives anyone the right to run for president.

Frankly, I would think people will soon be demanding Illegals be allowed to run for President.

Takes more than a piece of paper to become a Real American

You must possess an American mind.

Yes, because Jonathan Pollard had such an "American mind" (sarcasm).

No way, and based on all second generational terrorism by children of immigrants I would make the additional case that no one should be able to run for President until they are at least 3rd generation Americans for assimilation reasons.

Frankly, if Israelis had your mentality, both naturalized Israeli citizens (for those Israelis who were born after Israel's creation in 1948, obviously) and Israeli Arabs would be excluded from both the Israeli Presidency and the Israeli Prime Ministership.

Obama was born in US territory. But raised outside of the country.

You see where that has gotten us. He's an "AINO". American in name only, he doesn't care about, because he wasn't exposed to, our culture in his formative years.

In addition to being natural born citizens, they should be required to prove an upbringing in the country as well.
