Sometimes the light at the end of a tunnel is a train; and Donald Trump is finding that out....
With barely three months left to the November election His Orangeness told a group of assembled evangelical ministers in Florida his campaign "may come up short". DT further went on to say he is having "some problems" in Utah (that is putting it mildly). Utah is a sold hard core Republican state, if a candidate for POTUS cannot win there, it is all over.
This hot mess is swirling the pan and right now it is every Republican man or woman in local elections for themselves. You cannot always save everyone and at this point rank and file members of the party are more worried about their own seats than who wins the WH.
Trump for his part says if he loses he will take "a very long vacation".
Between now and electron time if Democrats (Islamic Jihadists) start bombing and killing again, Trump numbers will rise again.
It's too early to say where this election is headed.

Perhaps, but don't see that happening.
Once again this is playing out like 2012; by late summer then the polls had pretty firmed up and it was clear Romney wasn't going to win (IIRC). Unless the Clinton woman drops dead, is involved in some sort of *major* and *real* criminal investigation, or majorly stumbles on the campaign trail, this election is now hers to lose.

Also, like the media, the polls are fake and inflated. Can't believe the polls , or the media.

Election Analysis : Trump Will Win in a LandslidePOLITICS BY AMY MORENO AUGUST 5, 2016
Despite what the dishonest liberal media is trying spin, with their absurd claims that Trump is “imploding,” the movement to take back our country marches on.
Full force.
The REAL STORY is that no one likes Hillary Clinton and Trump has the momentum and will win the election.
This claim comes on the heels of recent election analysis.

When it comes to elections, the GOP has been faring better against Democrats over the last 7 years, than they ever have previously. In 2010, the GOP took back the House of Representatives with a 63-seat pickup, and also grabbed control of 29 of 50 governorships and gained 690 seats in state legislatures.
Then in 2014, The Republicans won 16 seats from Democrats, while only three Republican-held seats turned Democratic. The Republicans achieved their largest majority in the House since 1928. Combined with the Republican gains made in 2010, the total number of Democratic-held House seats lost under Barack Obama’s presidency in midterm elections rose to 77 with the 2014 midterms.
Other than Barack Obama’s unimpressive reelection against Mitt Romney in 2012, the Democrats have been losing every type of election imaginable to Republicans…
…The Secret-Trump Vote
Don’t even bother looking at a poll. If they were any accurate or valuable at predicting, then the people who ran them would be billionaires.
As we learned from the DNC-WikiLeaks scandal, the Democratic Party and Mainstream Media manipulate polls for nothing other than headlines and talking points, meant to drive narratives and suppress Republican turnout.
Instead, think of the facts.
In 2012, the voting age population was 235 million, but only 129 million voted.
Both parties left a possible 106 million votes on the table.
Because of Donald Trump’s candidacy, all the rules have been thrown out. We’ve seen that few of the old political playbook tricks work against him. Money being spent by his opponents have all gone to waste.
We saw every single professional political pundit in the country get the entire primary season wrong – on both sides.
The media and their phony polling consultants don’t have any clue what turnout will look like. If they did, they wouldn’t have bungled their Trump and Clinton predictions so badly in the primaries.
What we do know is that Trump is attracting voters from all over the map and into the Republican fold, just to vote for him. It’s how he unexpectedly massacred 16 opponents in the primary.
It’s how he will massacre Hillary Clinton in the general election.
When the media tells you that this race is close or that Hillary is leading, just simply laugh it all off.
This election is already over and Donald Trump will be the 45th President of the United States.
Also, like the media, the polls are fake and inflated. Can't believe the polls , or the media.

You are deluded my friend. Am no fan of the Clintons but Republicans (once again) handed the WH to them on a silver platter.
The interesting thing about this is Trump is using his problems in Utah to appeal to evangelicans. It seems he is implying that Mormons don't like him and that Evangelicans (a misguided belief IMO) don't like Mormons so they should rally around him.
Trump made the "yuuge" mistake of relying upon his wealth-gained stature alone to sustain his run.
Those with any kind of political savvy could have easily predicted his flame-out.
The things you do not do are:
Make enemies of the press.
Spout controversial nonsense.
Display disdain for ANY segment or demographic of the electorate....even the opposition.
Appear arrogant.
Any one of those or all of them in the case of Drumpf, are the stuff of failure as you spend virtually all of your time clarifying, correcting, justifying, apologizing and deflecting to the point that even the most loyal of acolytes come to doubt their choice.
In the remaining months you will undoubtedly witness the very obvious floundering of the drowning man beating the water with closed fists while he attempts to maintain any semblance of relevance. The guy's gonna implode in a most spectacular fashion.

Concerning Donald Trump, has the media been honest yet?
On another note, what have they got right about Donalds campaign? They constantly seem baffled.
The Donald goes against everything Media says and wins.

I agree with all of this. But there is still one tiny ray of hope for Trump: Hilary Clinton. Is there more to the email story? Are there any more skeletons rattling around in Hilary's closet? Will Hilary's health be an issue? I wouldn't bet the farm on Hilary at this point. Though with reasonable odds, say, ten to one, I might make a small bet.
