Honestly, as long as nobody is being forced to wear the things, I don't see the problem. Not really much different from what American women wore swimming in the 1800's.
A typical one-piecer from today would be completely scandalous in the 1800's. Muslim nations are just really old school like that.
One point that hasn't been made is that Islam also demands that men do not lay an eye on women not their wives, hence the need for burka. That is strictly forbidden. Yet, I see plenty of Muslim men frolicking on the beach while their wives are wrapped up in black veils.

If its a religion being used to create the requirement to wear one yet those claiming the requirement don't adhere to the religion then its nothing more than a fashion statement.
Wait until the first jellyfish gets caught up inside one.

Let me share something with you, that I know. It starts like this. The Left screams about "rights" and the law suits geld the country and it's culture.
The women in their "burkinis" flood the beaches. Then the Muslim men start attacking the women not wearing "burkinis".

Get it, Darling?
First, I'm not your darling. Second, that is assault and the person will be arrested.
No one is going to "flood the beaches".
