The Obama Economy of a top 1% served by college educated waiters and waitresses marched on in August.

In addition to the below-expectation number, wage growth actually took a step back, with hourly earnings up just 3 cents and an annualized pace of 2.4 percent. The average work week declined 0.1 percent to 34.3 hours.

That was largely because the biggest jobs gains came in bars and restaurants, which added 34,000 positions.
but.. but... but Obama said the economy was good. Hey, if Obama's supporters are happy with it, then vote Hillary for more life of luxury that Obama say's your living.
Millenials voted for this...they must like those low paying service jobs.
Obamacare premiums are going up and wait until they see that the "tax" for not having insurance went up too. They deserve what they voted for, no sympathy here.
The annual fee for not having insurance in 2016 is $695 per adult and $347.50 per child (up to $2,085 for a family).
No shortage of demand for skilled labor. Help wanted signs in front of all kinds of blue collar businesses. Where are the qualified workers? Working at Denny's? I doubt it.
This country needs to get it's priorities straight. We need to encourage people to invest in becoming skilled again.

Last time I heard, the GOP presidential nominee said you can't believe everything our nationalized media tells you. The numbers are rigged, and statistics are phony. Seems like we better take this "report" with a grain of salt.
If no one has good jobs how come buyers are pushing up home prices, travel and vacation spending is up, car sales are robust, construction projects are multiplying?

And my favorite restaurants are all hiring. I love seeing all these young Democrats $250,000+ in school debt bring a basket of rolls to my table. But I always have to ask for more butter.

The supply of existing homes is limited. More people are buying homes again. Simple supply and demand.
The obvious answer is to build more, but able bodied young people seem to prefer jobs in restaurants, not construction sites. Hence, supply remains limited and prices continue to climb. Eventually, prices will reach a point where home builders will be able to build more houses and pay higher wages to attract more workers. At this point, the restaurant staff will have a choice... Barely scrape by doing a reasonable easy job, or bust their backs and make some real money in a real career. Decisions they probably have never had to make before...
